I also purchased a refurb iMac DV+ from Small Dog 4 years ago. OS 9.0.4 did not run well on it, but then again, 9.0.4 didn't run well on any Mac. Actually no problems at all and saved a couple hundred bucks. (Had no use for the tiny little toy dogs they give. Choking hazard for my then 1 year old).
