For RAM prices, it's always good to check http://www.ramseeker.com/ to see a number of dealers, and you can rank by price, etc. I agree the current two different offerings by OWC are confusing; same for the current lowest price www.18004memory.com. It looks like Samsung is the "factory original" brand and is higher priced in both cases than their other "name brands" so it may be a matter of your faith in the dealer warranties. I can vouch for DMS who replaced a bad chip for me no questions asked--and paid for shipping both ways--some years ago.


Thanks, I'd already been to docs.info.apple.com website. I'll probably go with the DMS module. I've had good luck with DMSin the past, and I've never heard a complaint from anyone else. Same for OWC. But I have heard of people having trouble with 18004memory.
