by the way, i won't waste further bandwidth on this discussion, you can believe the self serving and largely unsupported claims of a manufacturer, or someone who's done EE work and has an interest in surge suppression technology and has followed it for years. if you check up on these guys, i'm sure you'll find they are selling under multiple brands and suggesting that they are separate companies when they aren't' etc. just don't step in it because it smells bad...
