I have an Ethernet network connecting an 8500, 9500, both running OS9, a B&W G3 running OSX, a LW 16/600, and a Color SW with an EtherTalk adapter. All computers could print to the LW and the OS 9 computers could also print to the CSW. Until today.

Today I connected my new iMac G5 and set up file sharing so I could copy files from my 8500 to the iMac. Somehow in the process, access to the LW broke for all the Macs, while printing to the CSW from the 8500 still works.

The 8500 Chooser sees the LW but gives it a generic icon. Clicking the setup button, never gets beyond "preparing data".

Apple Printer Utility-PPC also sees it but when I click "Open Printer", it never get's beyond the "Waiting" message.

Trying to print never get's beyond "preparing data" on the 8500 or "Waiting for job to complete" on the iMac.

Something must have gone wrong when I set up file sharing. Any ideas?
