Has anyone had this problem when they try to
unsuccessfully print something, and then abort the
print job, find that opening windows and doing other
operations extremely slowed down?
I find this when I select laserwriter 300 via printer
port on g3 beige or 7300 (both upgraded to g4).
Then, when I try to shut down or restart, it won't
cooperate, saying that it can't shut down right this
minute, because it is waiting for other applications
to shut down.

ugh.
Jason
