Hey folks,

I'm experiencing or was experiencing this problem just today. I booted up
my B&W G4/600 (XLR8) running on Panther (10.3.5) and I got the spinning
radial with the Apple logo as usual, but then after the radial stopped I got
a small black screen with various languages on it telling me to Restart the
computer by either holding down the power button or by pressing the restart
button. I restarted 2x before it went back to normal.

I then rebooted using the installation disk and using Disk Utility I did a
disk and permissions repair. The disk verification showed no problems and
the permissions performed some repairs. However upon reboot I still got the
same black window after the radial stops spinning. Again I had to reboot
about 2 to 3x before it booted normally.

I turned off Security (de-encryption), backed up my home folder to another
hard drive, and rebooted. Again it gave me the little black window asking
me to reboot. I rebooted but this time it went back to normal just after
this reboot and it seems to be ok now. I've rebooted about 3x in a row and
each time it seems just fine. Anyone know what the heck happened to my
machine and how I might have "fixed" it?
