NetGear and D-Link products do better.
If you're a "power user", actually planning on really using the bandwidth you're buying, you might want to consider stepping up to a small-office type solution. Prodcuts from Cisco, or an old Mac running IPNetRouter. ...The latter being my preferred solution.
I've been running a D-Link for some time now with no problems. It was cheap and easy to configure. IPNetRouter is great, used it for years with dial-up. I still keep an old 650 around with it on it incase of hardware failure. The Quadra version is about $20.00 cheaper than the Power Mac version.
But, it may be overkill for most people, especially with hardware routers being so cheap today.
