But I just re-read your post and realised--
that's probably not a Pro Speaker plug (even though the pro speaker plug looks very similar to the phono/RCA jack.) I just read some on the soundsticks. The iSub that came with the soundsticks was updated and had RCA out on it. The first iSub with just the USB was designed to compliment the origional iMac and work along with the iMac's built in speakers to deliver a more full range of sound. This is probably the iSub you have. (oops.)
