I've got the exact same setup and everything works fine.

I recently purchased the i320 after reading glowing reviews in Mac publications. Everything appears to be set up properly, but the scanner bar doesn't move.
Microtek tech support thinks that it's a hardware problem, and they are exchanging the machine, but this is the SECOND machine with the same problem that they are taking back, so I am wondering whether it could be software-related.
Another clue: the OS 9 driver functions (except for the scanning itself) work fine, but the various settings in the OS X driver don't work. I am using the newest driver as recommended by Microtek for OS 10.3.
