most frown on it in the extreme! earthlink will charge you $6 each time it happens, on an unlimited use account. and i suspect that if it happens often or for long period that they'll close your' account down. they are very touchy about people "sharing" an account with others since this has been widely abused in the past, often for money. i.e. i get an account with several email addresses, i sell "cheap" isp services to 5 of my friends, except of course that i'm just selling off my account which i'm not allowed to do. this is what most isp's will suspect if it happens often, and if it ever happens that more than 2 people are on your' account i guarantee they'll be shutting it down faster than you can log yourself out!
oh, and maclaunches spam filters are so clever that 3 url's at the end of an email will get it bounced, no matter how long the text part is. now that's a smart filter, that explains why the spammers are sending it all directly, especially the 2-3 offers a day to make millions just for helping them violate currency control laws, as soon as you send them a few $K that is.... just a heads up in case any one is dumb enough to fall for the "advance fee" scam or to really think that someone needs your' help to move millions of dollars out of the bank after a political overthrow. at least it's all free.
