The 8500 has an external SCSI Zip 100 (ID 6), 448MB RAM and OS 9.1.
The 233MHz G3 has an internal ATAPI Zip 100 (ID 1), 288MB RAM and OS 9.2.2.
Both have IomegaWare 6.5 for OS 8x to 9x.
If I format the Zip disk on the 8500, the All in One will not read it, asking me if I want to initialize it, and vice versa, regardless if HFS, HFS+, ProDOS or MS-DOS are selected. Any ideas why either machine will not read the disks?
