After reading Bruce Johnson's answer, and knowing what is supposed to happen
when I click on the Mozilla icon of a saved page, and knowing that what is
supposed to happen does happen sometimes but usually doesn't happen, I
decided that there must be another variable that I am missing.

What is supposed to happen is I click on the Mozilla file icon of the saved
page and the complete web page opens in Mozilla.

I have now discovered the variable, and it is in the name of the saved web
page. If I don't change the original name of the page, which is followed by
.htm, the page opens in Mozilla when I click on the file's icon. If I
change the name of the saved page to something that jogs my memory better,
it will not open when I click on the icon. I get a dialog box with this:
>
> The file "______________" is of type application/text (Text Readme), and
> Mozilla does not know how to handle this file type. This file is located at:
> 6GB HD:Desktop Folder.

But, if I use the same changed name for the file and put .htm after it, the
file opens in Mozilla. So, I guess that Mozilla can't recognize the file as
a .htm file unless .htm is in the name. I have not had this happen with
Explorer, Netscape or iCab. I can call those files anything I want and they
open when I click on their icons.

So, that solves the problem, and now I have to remember this quirk of WamCom
Mozilla.
