I have a slightly off-topic follow-up question to this string's starting question....

This would mean that a 5260 or somesuch lower-order board would work there too, right? I've gobs of the lower-order boards, of little purpose. I know the 52xx series is held in low regard. But surely it's faster than a 580, no? And if it works in the old case, it would seem to me to be a good use of the newer mobo. I've got plenty of the 52xx mobos, and a few LC 580s hanging around doing nothing. I just wish I could upgrade, similarly, my tons of LC 520s and 550s and 575s! t -- Signwave Finder Mail 0.5a - http://www.signwave.co.uk/ -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
