Hi,
I bought the Pioneer 106 DVD RW to go into the G4/466.

The install was mostly trouble free. I am running OS X.3.6. The driver reads DVDs. I installed the iLife Garageband disc from DVD which went just fine. I put in Dr Strangelove in the DVD player and it showed up on the desktop with the a DVD icon but DVD Player did not start even though it was set in system prefs. I did the software update. When I go into the applications folder DVD player is there but it is grayed out. When I click on it blinks and looks like it will start up but never does.
Any ideas what to do?
