that's really sad. in os 9 or before it's right in the tcp/ip control panel. right now i'm at 4.228.192.131. i don't use my "best" machine online, especially since i'm still on dialup, sigh. i'm definitely headed for broad band and a real firewall! any one with a configurable router/firewall really should read the manual, and make sure to change the default password, many of these boxes are painfully easy to hack if you don't (allowing traffic to be echoed anywhere etc.).
