There is an article in the January issue of MacAddict that covers linking (networking) your Macs via firewire. Seems really easy to do. Although it doesn't seem very 'practical'. It says that the maximum length of any firewire cable is 15 feet and if you need to go beyond that, you need a firewire hub. Anyway you can have a very fast network by this method. Supposedly you have to enable IP over firewire. So, if this interests you, I can forward then text of the entire article to anybody who wants it.

There are some cables that are supposed to network a couple of machines via usb
ports. They are supposed to work on Macs as well as PCs. Has anyone tried one?
