Griffin Technologies has an ADC to VGA adapter, for $29.99. It's 
available direct, at OWC, Small Dog, and probably other vendors. I'm 
using one on my MDD 1.25 GHz, along with the Apple furnished DVI to VGA 
adapter for my second display, and it works flawlessly.
