Hi Y'all,
Recently, when starting the mail app, I've noticed a very brief
display of 3 messages(?). There isn't enough time to read the
subject lines, but I can tell they aren't part of my regular mail.
Has anyone found anything like this before?
Running a B&W w/X.3.6 and Mail 1.3.9
Thanks,
Amanda
A quick follow-up before I head out to work... playing around
switching between mailboxes and reading as much as I could in the
brief flash, I found two of the messages to be about a virus "From"
some "content filter" and the other to spam for porn <great!>.
These messages appear in the inbox just before my normal mail shows
up and only display for a second or two (and not consistently).
These seem to be in mail =somewhere=, but I can't find them to
delete. Removing and reinstalling Mail isn't a deal-breaker, but I'd
like to keep my message base.... any thoughts?
Check Junk Mail, the messages are probably getting filtered there.
