Exactly.  

Actually, now that I think about it in a non-overcaffeinated condition, it
really shouldn't matter what the wretched mobo version is. ::blushes::

I guess I'd still like to have the mobo id information for the sake of
anal-retentive completeness, though.  If nothing else, it will give a (very)
rough indication of if the machine is stock or not. ::shrugs::
