iMac Ram question

I have a coworker with an rev b 233 iMac and I want to up the ram on 
it. I just found a pc100 so dimm from a pc laptop that says synch on it 
in the specs.

128mb, synch, 100MHz, CL2.
Will this work in the iMac? I know that ECC ram can cause problems and 
not work in a Mac, but what about synch ram?

I don't want her to have to haul it in if the ram will not work.
