You boot off the OS 9.2 or what ever cd you have then go to the tools or 
utilities folder there is a drive setup
click on it then choose the partitions for 9.0 and up extended is what you 
want from what I have gathered.
How ever if you have data on the drive you will most likely loose it unless 
there is a utility like partition magic
for a Mac.

And speaking of partitions on the G2 AOI....
How do you unpartition a drive? It was given to me in 2 partitons and I 
would rather have it as one partition.
