We do all our video editing on a package similar to your but are currently using a Beige G3ıs analog plugs (need the Rev 2 dimm for firewire). Strata has some nice freeware programs but they are a tad klunky. We are on 922 and prefer that OS for any number of reasons. My wife used to do a lot of image workeither video or stilland we found that usually the simplest setup is often the best. If you decide to get rid of that tower, I know someone who can use it. Our church wants to begin archiving services as well.
