hi all,

so I upgraded my wallstreet to Jaguar, and though a little slow and buggy it has worked okay until today. Now the display freaks out (gibberish and half screen/scrollling) and will not settle down. I patched it into an external monitor and that looks fine. This is probably a hardware issue, right?

Yup. Both the fact that it did work before and that the monitor works implies a hardware problem. Quite likely the connector or cable. I would remove the keyboard and look for the display connector. I think it is accessible with little trouble from under the keyboard. Try disconnecting it and reconnecting it. IIRC it is the usual flex cable so you have to pry up the tab on either end of the connector (about 1/10 of an inch). If that doesn't do it then it's likely the cable and it may need replacing.
