The desktop display does not fit on the screen anymore.

This is an Apple Multiple Scan 17 display.

If it is the system video...anyone know how I can reset it?

If this is one of the "AV" Multi-Scan's like the 1710, you can reset it by using the keys Cmd-Opt-A-V at startup. I think the monitor ADB plug needs to be in use?


You might need to do the PRAM also (Cmd-Opt-P-R).

I think this is a monitor issue for certain. If you're using OS 9.x the monitors control panel "should" have extra "AV" controls for adjusting the monitor via software.
