On a Sawtooth, there is a Firewire in the same location on mine. On my Yosemite, I see what looks like a RF connector through hole pads, I assume that is what you are talking about?

Yep, looks like a pad for some sort of connector with 4 holes in a square pattern with one in the middle. I can only assume that is what Bruce was talking about.
