Hi all,

True to my word, I called Apple to discuss the relationship between Quartz
Extreme and the wake from sleep crash that seems to plague the G5 series. The
rep I spoke to claimed to have no info on the matter, but said that disabling
QE would not hurt anything.

I went ahead and disabled it, and left my computer running [EMAIL PROTECTED]
all weekend. It went for 2+ days without a single crash, compared to the
previous weekend when it crashed 4 times over 3 days.

So I'm convinced. Thanks to all who helped with this, and I hope Apple deals
with this bug soon!
