Two Sony car stereos have worked for over ten years each for me - one top of the line and the present one bottom of the line. Still perfect.

What are you guys doing to them?

I bought a Sony radio/CD player for my car. It died within two weeks; the CD player stopped playing. The electronics store replaced it. This time it lasted until just beyond the store's warranty. Then the buttons on the front that switch the radio from AM to FM stuck in, and can't be pulled out. No more Sony junk for me either.
