Isn't it interesting how many media appearences (TV, Movies) feature Macs and not windows PCs - is there some marketing campaign behind that or are the productions designers just smarter than real business owners?

For a long time, only the good guys got Macs. Check out the new seasons of Smallville, etc - Apple got cheap so they converted to PCs.

It's called Paid Product Placement. *Every* item you see, in a non-News movie or TV show/movie, with a trademark showing (logo, brand name, slogan, shape, billboard, etc), is a paid placement.

Hollywood makes MILLIONS per year from these placements.

ObConspiracyTheory: Hollywood's job is to subliminally make us like/love computer technology, fast food, and aliens. That way when the truth comes out, we'll panic less. Computer technology: Big Brother preparing to chip us. McDonalds: Drug industry is going to sell us more diet pills. Aliens: Gotta love the brain-sucking ET's among us, especially the ones that make billions of dollars per year by selling the lemmings all them there PCs.
