Hey folks, Here's my dilemma is it possible to print to an SMC wireless 4 port router that has a USB printer server port? I am running Panther on a B&W G4/600. I have a USB Epson Photo 820 printer. I want to know if I can connect this printer to the router and have the router as my print server. All the instructions are for PC and they give a small blurb about Macs having plug and play (?).
I've been having a heck of a time trying to figure out the settings in the Printer Setup Utility. I've tried it as a Rendevous setting, I've tried it as LPD/LPR, I've tried it as IP, but it just won't print. Any suggestions?
