OS 10.3 and Nvidia cards; also comment on Mac Mini

For peopel who have problems with installing OS 10.3 using Nvidia cards. This applies to the GeForce2 MX but may apply to other Nvidia cards as well. Make sure when installing OS 10.3 that there is no more than 256MB of RAM on the mobo. The Ram may be reinstalled after successful installation of OS 10.3.

When I tried installing 10.3 on my AGP with 896MB RAM all I got was a blank screen. People on this list correctly identified the problem as one with the video card. Thank you. I am happy to provide the solution.

Also, love the Mini. Great solution for those of us at the lower income scale. Eventually it will bring down the prices of used Macs as well. My pet peeve with the mini; insufficient video RAM. Some modern apps require 64MB RAM and history shows an increasing trend. Still, it may be a heat issue. Too bad. Other than that, very happy with the Mini.
