Just out of curiosity, did the manufacturer of these converters clearly state that they would work with mice only? Or is it the machines themselves that are somehow at fault? I mean, my Taiwanese pals crank out some pretty hokey gear...but making a converter than will only meet the needs of one half of the necessary mouse/keyboard combination is pretty bad.
