As for the OS, what I read was the even a lowly Mac Plus can handle 2TB on OS 7.5.x without issues. (Although I would not want to be the one to rebuild the desktop on that one!!)

AFAIK, you can go up to 120gigs on that (though remember, you're still constrained to the 8gigs-on-first-partition-for-boot-drive rule on a beige). Maybe more if you partition - others here should be able to give you a more definitive answer. Yes, you sh
