There are all sorts of variations in AGP slots.
The most obvious visually different slots: AGP vs AGP-Pro
AGP-Pro slots are larger to accomodate extra power lines.
The regular AGP slots, 1.0 (1x, 2x), 4x, and 8x look similar, but have different keying depending on the voltages they support, 3.3v vs 1.5v. Other than that, the slot size and placement should be the same amongst them.
