FYI:

Boot your Mac whilst holding down the keys:

Command(Apple)-Option(Alt)-O-F.
This will get you into Open Firmware.

On the prompt type:

reset-nvram

Press the Return key.

Than type:

reset-all

Press the Return key.

If the reset is successfull the Mac will reboot automatically.

Ontopic, luckily the problem was easy to fix!
