I bought some original CD's off of ebay a while ago. Included was Appleworks 6 among an OS 9.1 installer. The version of Appleworks is 6.04 and I cannot run the updater to bring it to 6.2.8 or.9. It always says that it cannot find a US version of AW to update. When I install from CD it only asks if it will be used in North America not specifically the USA.
Documents show up all right when I'm using OS X, but, I cannot print them. I am prompted to change the print parameters, and when I go there the paper is set to A4 and the % scale is something like 2096. I change it to letter and 100% and when I do the document basically disappears and I gain an extra page or 2.
The only way around it is to create a "new" WP or Drawing document and copy and paste the info over. This way all becomes printable (allows me to make a pdf of the document) which is the desired outcome.

Any suggestions on how to shorten these steps or be able to upgrade my AW 6.04 to 6.2.8 / 6.2.9?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
