I bought it today, and as far as I can tell it has a Rev 2.
mobo and Rev. C ROMs. After doing a clean install of
9.1 the DVD player started right up. It plays pretty good,
as long as I don't do ANYTHING else with the computer
while it's running. But trying to surf the web results in
an annoying pause in the DVD playback each time a
new page is loaded.

Anyway, i don't think I'll be doing much extended viewing
of DVDs on this thing, as I already have a nice DVD
player, but this might come in handy if I can find an OS
9 program that lets me take screenshots of the DVD.

My Wings card does not have a direct connection to the
DVD, it just plugs into the mobo and the modem card
plugs into it.

Thanks for the info, it feels good to learn so much in
one day.
