There is a way to use standard profile DIMMS. There is a little cage under the fan for the power supply. This is what stops the case from closing. If you cut this off, I used a pair of nose end cutters, you can use the standard profile DIMMS and still close the case.
It�s a tight fit, and the DIMMS are right next to the fan but it will work. Important Note: This case modification is irreversible! I also Highly suggest before modifying your case that you boot the CPU with the new DIMMS in place to be sure it works BEFORE cutting. Enough disclaimers?
