Yeah, I love BeOS!. It's a shame Apple didn't buy it (which almost
happened) instead of Palm. I knew once Palm got it, that would be the
end of it. I still don't understsnd why they bought Be in the first
place.........

Me either, and it's a crying shame they let it die. But an interesting little bit of news....
In October Jean-Louis Gassee became the new head of the board of directors for PalmSource - the software division that split off from Palm. Wonder if he still loves his baby enough to try and do something with it now...?
Has anyone found enough PPC-compatible software to make running BeOS worthwhile? I've searched and googles all over the place and can't seem to find very much at all. Would especially like to find a "modern" browser and email client.
