Only advice I have is try to find a type 1 LCD (no dead, white, on, off 
pixels...Good luck on that).  I think that once you find a dead pixel, you will 
always remember where it is, and will be drawn to looking at it.  I know that 
was the case for me with my ViewSonic.  That's why I exchanged it for an Apple. 
 No dead pixels (that I know of), and I'm trying not to look for them.  Let us 
know if you find anyone that sells type 1.
