Got one! During the summer when we get our daily afternoon thunderstorms the power goes out on average of 3-4 times per week....usually only for 30-40 seconds but yes....in the past it resulted in having Windows rendered un-bootable. Of course this was nothing new for Windows as I used to have to do it about every 2-3 months anyway. ME (Millennium Edition) was the worst and it's what finally had me switch over to the Mac. Back to another issue: Appletalk....I really never used it, so thanks for the info. Does it serve any real purpose in OS X? Or is it just a legacy left over from OS 9 and prior?
