Or search versiontracker.com or macupdate.com for "RAR" or "RAR archive". One open source solution you'd find on those sites, although I have not yet tried it yet myself, is "RAR Expander". Here is the project site:

I've used MacPAR deLuxe and that works great for expanding RAR archives, but it is shareware. Of course it also handles PAR/PAR2, which is useful. See:
