Not if you have the correct video card. The ATI Rage that originally shipped with it needs the decoder, iirc, but replacement cards such as the ATI Radeon 7000 or 9200 do not.
Would this be true of a beige w/7000 also? Os X only or also in OS 9? Thx BobT
