Thanks for your advice. I have tried both cross-over and straight without
success. It now looks as if my ethernet connection is not working at all. I
am going to re-install my OS 9 and see if that fixes it. According to what I
picked up on the Apple support site this should fix it. I will let you know
as soon as I get it done this weekend. What is odd is that I have been under
the assumption that it was working, but all the while it was using my
PhoneNet connection out of my serial port. As soon as I removed all my
PhoneNet lines, I found out otherwise.
