After having a bad run with the PC we use for a firewall/router, I am thinking of using a nice cheap B&W G3 OS X instead. And we may us it for retrospect at night. I also have a PL 900MHz ZIF from a beige G3 that was a our old print server.
Now, I have heard that some B&W mother board revisions are better than others, can anyone recommend a model/Rev. that might suit our application?
Rev 1's have issues with more than one drive on the IDE bus, iirc. The LEM site says to insist on a Rev 2.
