From the stock 1 meg (4-256 chips) you could go to 2, 2.5 or 4 meg. To go to 2 meg ( 2 - 1 meg sticks and 2 empty slots) you had to MOVE a resistor. To go to 2.5 or 4 you had to cut the resistor. Yeah, I snagged 2 1 meg sticks the one year Macworld came to DC for $200 each and upgraded my plus.
Now that this has gone completely OT, it does not even meet the 5th removed rule.
