It's listed in the Accounts control panel as 'short name', or start terminal or go to an open terminal window and type whoami and hit return.


It'll tell you who you are (or rather what user is logged on in that window; since one person could conceivably log onto a system under a variety of user names, it's not as daft a utility as you might think.)
