It's an XLR8 processor that has the pins on it. I've also overclocked an XLR8 G4/300 to 400 (tried 450 but the system kept crashing). I used Arctic Silver Thermal Paste, the original heatsink that came with the B&W but I've modified it by attaching a heatsink fan to it. As for software I was using Mach Speed Control from Daystar (they sell the XLR8 processors), but I've switched to the Powerlogix CPU Director. As a side note I've also overclocked an Apple G3/300 processor (the original processor from my B&W) to 450 using an XLR8 carrier card in my 9500. It seemed stable for awhile but then programs began crashing after a period of use. I'm guessing the cheap heat sink that came with the card wasn't good enough.
