I recently installed an extra hard drive (Western Digital 120 g) to my
Quicksilver 800, Sys. 10.3.8 it has the original 40 g HD and when is
on, it sleeps and wakes up with no problem, but when I start-up from
the 120 HD, it will not wake up whenever it goes to sleep.

Has anyone encounter this behaviour? and if so, what is the remedy?

Is your extra drive internal or external Firewire? Perhaps that makes a difference if you tell the experts here. In the meantime, I am running on my extra drive (Seagate Barracuda 40GB). Sleep is no problem. So there is hope.
