Hi Robert, Are we talking about a G3 Beige Desktop?

Iıve had 2 and I had way more ram in them than that.

G3 Beige Desktop
There are 3 DIMMS slots and each can be filled with up to a 256MB DIMMS in
each slot. Total 768MB.

PC100 or PC133 backward compatible it doesnıt matter. I think the original
mobo used PC66. 

If youıre purchasing new, Iıd get the PC133 so you can use it in a G4 if you
upgrade someday.
