I found it very easy to install and use a SCSI drive. IIRC, the internal Zip drive was SCSI when I got it. Definitely no need for a custom cable. And i dont know what all this talk about using small drives. It LOOKS like a 2 inch drive could fit in EACH bay, but hey I have not tried. But with 1 inch drives in all the bays in mine except one, it looks like I could fit about a 3 and a half inch tall drive, maybe 4. I do have a tower, maybe thats the difference?
